Welcome!

So you want to build an Adirondack chair out of a barrel! It’s a great project that’s not terribly difficult, but still engaging, and you end up with a useful, beautiful piece of furniture. This website is intended to get you through the entire project, from the barrel to the finished chair. Plan on around 8-12 hours of work if you're starting from an assembled barrel, and the consumable materials run about $50. If you’re champing at the bit, already have your barrel, and want to get to right into the instructions, here they are. Most people will want to start with the required tools and materials. Happy building!
